Bear Paw is located about 12 miles west of Eagle River, about 5 miles southeast of St. Germain, about 15 miles east of Minocqua, and 15 miles north of Rhinelander.

Vilas and Oneida Counties are home to over 1000 lakes, and over 400,000 acres of public lands, including the Nicolet National Forest and the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest. The area has many fine eating places, golf courses, tennis courts, museums, water-ski shows, stables, antique and craft shops, theaters, supermarkets and more.

If you are coming into the Northwoods via Eagle River, take Highway 70 west to County O, turn left (south) on O, then 2 miles to the Bear Paw / 3D's sign.
